Hi, I'm Adam. Here's a little about me, and a few things I made that I wanted to share.
About
A little about me. I went to Georgia Tech, then spent my twenties in Atlanta tech: partner operations at AirWatch (later VMware), customer success at Urbanimmersive, and software sales at Stack Sports. In 2020 I got my real estate license and spent six years as an agent with Bolst Real Estate, where I ranked in the top 10% of agents in Georgia by transaction volume from 2021 through 2025, and learned that a good follow-up system beats a good pitch. Then I moved to New York.
The band. I'm Matt's little brother, and I was The Dirty Souls' drummer: the original lineup with Matt, Jason Holt, and Alex Slinin, starting at a songwriter showcase where I was two weeks into playing the drums. Ten years after we lost Matt, we finished and released the songs he never got to.
Acting. I grew up making movies, and since 2017 I've worked as an actor: commercials, print, short films, and two feature-length independent films. I'm not active at the moment, but I'll probably find my way back to it.
Things I've built
I made a free party planner, a record and a website for my brother's band, and a website for his brother's music scholarship. I've found the best problems to solve are often the ones sitting right in front of you. I'm not a professional developer. I learned what I needed to make each of these, with a lot of help from patient tools and more patient people.

Dinner Caddy
Tell it the occasion and the headcount and it builds the menu, the shopping list in store quantities, and a prep schedule. There's a potluck signup board where guests claim a dish from one shared link, with no app and no account. It exists because the women in my family had been doing this math by hand for years.

The Dirty Souls
My brother Matt was the lead singer of an Atlanta rock band. Ten years after we lost him, we released the seven songs he never got to, Hold On Tight, and built the band a real home: the music, the story, the photographs. Every dollar it earns goes to the scholarship below.

Nonprofit
Matt Johnson Music Foundation
A 501(c)(3) run by Matt's family, friends, and former bandmates. It funds the Matt Johnson Music Scholarship for Harris County High School students in Hamilton, Georgia, who are pursuing music. Donations are tax-deductible.
